This project, aimed at ensuring responsible and sustainable practices, involved extensive stakeholder engagement, social and economic surveys, as well as detailed assets and land surveys. PaulSam played a key role in developing a meticulous RAP, encompassing asset valuation and compensation schedules to address the needs of the Project Affected Persons (PAPs).

• RAP Report Development: Compiled all survey data, stakeholder inputs, and valuation outcomes into a detailed Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) report. The report outlined strategies for resettlement, compensation, and mitigation of social and economic impacts.

• Implementation and Communication: Actively implemented the RAP report, ensuring that compensation and resettlement measures were executed in a timely and efficient manner. Communication with the Project Affected Persons was a priority throughout the implementation process.

• Monitoring and Evaluation: Established a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress of resettlement activities, address emerging challenges, and make necessary adjustments to the plan.
